This is the 100th post of this blog

I was thinking of doing something special for the 100th post, but I could not decide what to do, so instead I'll do just some random bits and pieces.

I've been living on the Internet since the early 00s and during that time I had many different blogs and blog-like sites. Some disappeared of natural causes, some can still be found.

A photo from one of my blog posts from 2009. This is my laptop of that time, a HP Compaq with which I have very fond memories. It's placed on the floor of the room I was renting at the time. On the screen there is my DeviantArt profile page. The photo is in the resolution in which I was posting photos at the time, tiny at the current standards.

Here is my previous blog on Wordpress, and my photoblog. I started both at the beginning of my time at the University, so both are named after my friend's group inside jokes in Welsh. (Yes, I've been studying Welsh then).

For a few years I've been totally obsessed with DeviantArt, spending every free moment there, posting my photos and browsing through other people's galleries.

Here is the link, but now it's empty, I archived all of my deviations in a moment of frustration and conflict with my then girlfriend.

And here is my last.fm profile profile, which in November will be 20 years old.

I have no idea on how many different forums I have spent time and published posts, but probably that would be a double digit number.

Listing all of my Internet presences would take too much time and space here, and would probably be not as interesting for you. And that is still not including all of the different social media that I have been part of during the last two decades or so.

I have always been a person of the Internet, growing up on it, surfing with the trends and currents of the intertubes, and it has been an integral part of my life, even in its current, broken state.

But in none of those profiles or pages I have been as prolific as in this blog. When I was starting it in late 2022, I was not sure if I would have more than a few initial posts, but here we are, almost four years later at a hundred posts.

So yeah, I hope I will continue and maybe even reach post 200? We will see.

In the meantime I would like to thank you for all the feedback, the comments, the Fediverse posts, the emails that I have received from you, they mean a lot to me.

And now unto post 101!
